FASHION MAGAZINE

I've created collages for a couple short stories in Canada-based magazine, Fashion. The first serves as an illustration for a narrative about the author's mother and how the month of May is a very nostalgic time for her to reflect on the times they had together as she grew up. I incorporated imagery based on the storyline such as springtime, sewing, floral dresses, and talks on the telephone. The second illustration is based on a story from the perspective of a young girl and her new relationship with a boy on Bell Island during the month of October. I incorporated imagery based on the storyline such as autumn, sunset, hay bales, horses, Bell Island, and the two main characters.
